This is Kuwait from my prespective and camera

We had a small rain of about 50 mm ( around 2") this past rain seasonin 2003 the resulting traffic jam was because of the storm drains had been blocked by sand and debries.

This is the Gazallie lake formed by stopped drains more than 15  6 and 8 inch pumps worked continiously for close to 24 hours before the drains could be reached to allow the remaining water to drain

This is the water that was on the street in front of my shop. notice the ruff water in the foreground? that was result of my bow wake from my 4X4 Pajero. it got up to my hood at one point Nice thing about my Chrysler built mitsubissi Pajero was it is heavier than normal ,and the intake horn is tucked hight in the fender cavity. had I slowed down though it would have had to run on water. No water got inside of the cabin.

More to be added later

now for the fire next to my shop

My shop on the left . The dumpster belongs to the construction company building the road Sure be glad when they empty it and remove their trash  Would make a good fire But I don't want it that close to me when it goes.
